We have gone to the Zoo Zoo Zoo...

Have brought the kids to the Zoo on Sunday at ard 11.30am. It was drizzling when we reached, thus we waited for a while at KFC near the entrance. The drizzle stopped 10mins later and we happily made our way in to the ZOO.
And there we saw...
The monkeys...

Babirusa... (a type of wildpig)

Blue headed big bird(forgot it's name liao)... Only manage to take a photo with it's ass as it walked away too fast.

Don't know what it is.. a type of Squirrel??

We walked and walked...

And we saw the snakes! Different type of snakes, but i only took three type. Haha...

A small long tailed monkey...

By the time we reached the rainforest kidzworld, we were all hungry. Hence we went to the nearby KFC...

After we have finished our meals, we continued our journey... and we saw

Aiya, Kaeser and I were too busy feeding the goats and i totally forgot to take a photo of "Kaeser and the goats". Hazi...

Near to the Kidzworld, there is this Kumpong house...

On the way back, we saw the female lions. Where are the males?

Forgot to take photos of the elephants, white tigers, sun bears, goats, penguins etc. Dissapointed that we didn manage to see the polar bear...

On the way home, i then remembered that we also didn see the cows, pink pigs and sheeps... Maybe next time go again... And hubby give me that " If you want to go, go yourself" look. Haha... The kids were exhausted after the zoo and they slept all the way home.

Water playing session on Good Friday morning!

As Friday was a public holiday, hubby and I brought the kids to play water at Dawn's place (Summerhill). We reached there at ard 11am and played for abt one an a half hrs. Couldn't stay long as i need to go for my driving lesson at 1.30pm.

Luckily the weather was good when we were in the pool. It started to rain when we were leaving the place. Heng!

Free printable flashcards & worksheets for preschool

I have came across this website (http://www.mes-english.com/) when i was online searching for some educational materials for my kids.
This website has free flashcards, worksheets and handouts to match/color/write, free phonics cards and a lot more which are all ready for printing. I have already printed out many sets of flashcard which included body parts, transportation, animals, insects, food, drinks, desserts and many many more. I have also printed out the ABC handwriting practice worksheets for my kids.
Best of all, you can customise the worksheets yourself!

Another Boring Sunday

Have packed to go for a swim ytd but the sky was not cooperative! The weather was good in the morning when i was having my driving lesson. After the lesson ended, it started to rain... Sad...
We waited for about three hours and the rain didn't stop. Kaeser has been singing the rain rain go away song non stop but the rain get even heavier.
In the end, we went Centrepoint Robinson to see look see look. My intention is to check out the price of the lego duplo villa series sets. Thought at least there will be a 15% discount as there are posters hanging everywhere stating that Robinson is having a 15% storwide and for some items 20% (Term & condition apply) . Disappointed again when i asked a sale assistant whether lego is having 15% or 20% discount and he told me: " No, Lego no discount."
Me:" Huh?? In this case how come the posters stated that Robinson is have a 15% storwide??"
Sale assistant smiling:" Sorry, term and conditon apply. For lego, there is no discount."

Me:" ok thanks." (In my mind: " What the Fu*K!")

Hubby said wait till great singapore sale then buy lor.. Ok lor.. no choice. Need to save money mah.. In the end, i brought a box of mega bloks for the kids. The size of the mega bloks is the same as lego duplo. Just that the quality is not as good.
